IND v AUS: Australia all-out for 235 runs, India takes 15 runs lead, Bumrah-Ashwin shines

The first match of the Test series is being played in Adelaide between India and Australia. On the rain effect morning session of the 3rd day, the Kangaroo team dismissed for 235 runs. This gave Indian team a small lead of 15 runs on the basis of first innings.

In the first innings for Australia, Travis Head scored 72 runs. While Jasprit Bumrah bowled superbly and bagged 3 big wickets for India. Though there was rain in between the morning session on the third day, due to which the umpires took early lunch.

India scored 250 runs in the first innings, In reply, Australia scored 235 runs in the first innings. Australia came into the third day's play at the score of 191/7 with Travis Head batting at 61* and Mitchell Starc 8* at the middle.

Australia lost the 8 wickets at the start of the third day When Bumrah dismissed Mitchell Starc for 15. Travis Head batted well, he faced 167 balls and scored 72 runs with the help of 6 fours.

After that Mohammed Shami took 2 back to back wickets of Head and Hazlewood and will be on a Hat-trick in the second Innings of Australia.

Jasprit Bumrah and Ashwin shines for India:

Bumrah made a fantastic performance for the Indian team, he picked three wickets in 24 overs by spending just 47 runs. The second day was good for spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin, he took 3 for 57 in 34 overs. While Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami chipped in with two wickets each.
