Kohli becomes 1st player to achieve this big world record, leaves many veterans behind

Virat Kohli has scored more than 2600 runs in an international career in 2018, he had also scored 2818 runs in 2017. With this, he has become the first cricketer in the world, who has scored more than 2600 runs in two consecutive years in International cricket.

Indian captain Virat Kohli had an excellent time with his bat in overseas conditions in 2018. Virat Kohli scored runs in South Africa England and now in Australia. On Day 3, of the 2nd Test match played in Perth, Virat scored a fine century and registered many records to his name.
When Virat Kohli reached his 25th test century, he completed 1000 test runs in the overseas condition in a calendar year and became the 11th batsman in the world to achieve this landmark.

Before Virat Kohli, Mohinder Amarnath and Rahul Dravid have done this for India. Interestingly, he is only the third captain to do so in the world. Before him, Bob Simpson and Graeme Smith have done this.
