India in strong position on Day 2, Virat-Rahane scored half-century, 7 Big records created

Stumps Day 2: The 2nd match of the Test series which is being played in the Green top in Perth's Optus stadium. Batting first, Australia scored 326 runs in the first Innings with the help of three half-centuries coming from Harris (70), Finch (50) and Head (57). In reply to this, Indian openers Murali Vijay and Rahul flopped again and added only 6 runs for the opening wicket. Vijay was dismissed for duck and Rahul luckily he scored 2 runs. After the poor start, Pujara and Kohli added important 74 runs stand for the 3rd wicket. Pujara stubborn Innings was demolished by Strac when he was out for 24 runs off 103 balls. After this, Indian captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane added unbeaten 90 runs stand for the 4th wicket. Kohli remained unbeaten on 82 off 181 while Ajinkya Rahane scored 51 off 103 balls and took India to 172/3 at the end of Day 2 and behind by 154 runs.
