These records are not with the bat but with the captaincy. The big thing is that in the year 2018, the Indian team has dominated the cricketing world. Let's see.

1. Most successful captain after winning the toss:


India beat Australia by 137 runs under the captaincy of Virat in the Melbourne Test. With this victory, Virat has been unbeaten in the Test matches, the number of wins has reached 18, in which he won the toss.
Virat has won the toss in 21 Test matches so far and has never lost a single match. In 21 test, Virat has won 18 matches and 3 draws.

2. Virat Kohli's Record in Sena Country:

After winning the historic Boxing Day Test in Melbourne, Virat Kohli has become the most successful captain of the Indian team in Sena Country i.e. South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia, winning the most (4 Tests). Virat has broken the records of Dhoni and Pataudi's 3 Test wins in this case.

3. 'King Virat' equalized Sourav Ganguly:


After winning the Melbourne Test, captain Kohli has equalized the Indian record of the legendary captain Sourav Ganguly in the case of winning most Test matches in overseas.
However, Virat has achieved this record in fewer matches than Ganguly. While Virat won 11 Tests in 24 Tests on foreign soil, Ganguly had captained India in 28 Tests to win 11 Tests.

4. Breaks 50-Years-Old Record in Overseas:

In the year 2018, the flag of Virat Kohli's captaincy continued to rise above, and this is the reason why Virat & Co. broke the 50-year-old record in the case of winning the most Test (4) in a calendar year on foreign soil. Earlier, Indian team won 3 Test matches in 1968.
