6. Mohammed Kaif:

The 37-year-old Kaif announced his retirement on 13 July and in 2002 it was the same day that he along with Yuvraj Singh defeated England in the finals of Natwest Trophy. Kaif has participated in 13 Test and 125 One-Day Internationals for India. Right now he has continued his work in cricket and he his seen doing Hindi commentary in international matches.

5. Subramaniam Badrinath:

Subramaniam Badrinath announced his retirement in September through a press conference. He played 10 international matches for India but he is considered a great player in domestic cricket. In the IPL, he has played with Dhoni in Chennai SuperKing.

4. Munaf Patel:

Munaf Patel, who is known as Bharuch Express in the Indian team, announced his retirement in November this year. For the last time he got the opportunity to play in 2011. He has played 70 ODIs, 13 Tests and 3 T20 matches for India and during this he also picked 125 wickets.

3. RP Singh:

Indian bowler RP Singh also announced his retirement from international cricket. Writing a long message on his official Twitter handle on September 4 this year, RP Singh said goodbye to cricket.his fast bowler was the key performer for India in the 2007 T20 World Cup.

Praveen Kumar announced his retirement in October. He was the master of swing bowling. While in the Indian team, he got an opportunity to play in 6 Tests, 68 ODIs and 10 T20 matches.

1. Gautam Gambhir:

Gautam Gambhir, who played for the Indian team for a long time, announced his retirement on 4 December on his official Twitter handle.
