IND vs AUS, 4th Test: Australia trail by 386 runs, Kuldeep-Jadeja shines on Day 3, Bumrah goes wicketless

On the Day 3 of the fourth and final match of the Test series between India and Australia which is being played in Sydney. Australia finished at 236 for six at the end of the third day's play. The third day could not be completed due to poor light and bad weather.

Peter Hadescomb (28) and Pat Cummins (25) remained unbeaten. While Kuldeep Yadav picked 3 wickets and Ravindra Jadeja 2 wickets for India, Surprisingly Jasprit Bumrah went wicketless on Day 2.

Australia batting on Day 3:

Marcus Harris and Usman Khawaja opened the Innings for Australia, During this time, Khawaja was dismissed for 27 runs and Harris who was playing well was dismissed after lunch after scoring 79 runs with 8 fours.

Young player Marnas made an important contribution of 38 runs and Travis Head made 20 runs which were followed by the wicket of Captain Tim Paine for 5 runs.

Indian bowling performance on Day 3:


Kuldeep Yadav was the successful bowler for India, he picked 3 wickets for 71 runs in 24 overs. Apart from him, Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets for 62 runs in 27.3 overs.

While fast bowler Mohammad Shami took 1 wicket for 54 in 16 overs. Surprisingly Jasprit Bumrah did not get any success on the third day. At stumps Day 3, Australia still trail by 386 runs with 4 wickets in hand.
