IND vs AUS: Rohit scores incredible century, leaves Gilchrist behind in this special record

This inning was very special for Rohit Sharma, chasing the target of 289 runs, India lost three wickets for just four runs but Rohit and Dhoni took over the Indian innings.

Dhoni got out after scoring a half-century, but Rohit remained at the other end and scored his 22nd and seventh century against Australia. This century was also special for Rohit Sharma because it was Hitman's first match after the birth of his daughter and he scored a hundred in this match.

Rohit scored his 22nd ODI century:

Rohit Sharma faced 129 balls and scored 133 runs. During this innings, he scored 11 fours and 6 sixes. Rohit also shared a 137-run 4th wicket partnership with Dhoni, after Dhoni wicket, he went out off partners. This is Rohit Sharma's first century on the Sydney Cricket Ground. Earlier, his best score on the field was 99 runs which he scored against Australia in 2016.
