The 2nd day of the Sydney Test between India and Australia became historic. In the first innings of this match, after losing 7 wickets India declared at the total of 622 runs. Thanks to, Pujara (193) and Pant (159*) brilliant hundreds for India in first innings.
Apart from Pant and Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja also contributed 81 runs. Thanks to the finest innings of this trio, India declared the innings on huge 622 runs and with this, a record was created in the name of the Indian team which no other team has ever achieved in test history.

India becomes the first team in the world to achieve this world record against Australia:

As soon as India declared its innings in the Sydney Test, Team India became the first team in the world to declare 3 consecutive innings against Australia in Australia. No team have ever done this before in the 100 years of test cricket.
In Melbourne, India declared its first inning on 443/7. After that, in the second innings, India declared on 106 runs. Now in Sydney, once again India declared for 622/7 in the first innings and created history in Australian soil.

India has done this twice against Australia:

It is not the first time that a team as declared the innings on three consecutive times against Australia. Even before this, Team India has achieved this feat against Australia at Home, when the Kangaroo team toured India in 2008. During that time, India had declared three consecutive innings in Mohali and in Delhi Test. But this time Virat's army has done this work against Australia in their own backyard.

Big History will be created in Sydney:

At Stumps Day 2, Team India is in a very strong position in the Sydney Test and Australia's victory seems impossible and hard from here on. If India wins this test match or even draws itself, then the history of 71 years will be changed. In fact, Virat Kohli will become not only the first Indian captain but also the first Asian captain to win test series in Australian soil. Before this, no captain of Asia has done this.
