Indian women wins series by 2-0, Deepti Sharma creates history, left Kapil Dev behind

After inviting to bat first, New Zealand gave the target of 162 runs to India with help of captain Amy Satterthwaite (71). In reply, At one stage India lost 2 wickets for 15 runs Jemima Rodriguez (0) and Deepti Sharma (8).
After this, Mandhana and Mithali Raj took over the Indian innings, both added an unbroken 151 run partnership for the third wicket.
Smriti Mandhana scored an unbeaten 90 runs off 83 balls with 13 fours and a six. Mandhana also got the man of the match for this fantastic innings. Captain Mithali Raj played an unbeaten knock of 62 runs and won the match by 8 wickets in 35.2 overs. In bowling, Jhulan Goswami took three wickets for India, while Ekta Bisht, Deepti Sharma and Poonam Yadav got two successes and Shikha Pandey took one wicket.

Deepti Sharma creates history in 2nd ODI:

After taking 2 wickets in the match, she has broken the world record of Kapil Dev. Deepti Sharma becomes the quickest Indian player to complete 1000 runs and takes 50 wickets, in ODIs for both men and women. Deepti Sharma completed this feat in her 43rd ODI matcha, while Veteran Kapil Dev achieved this milestone in his 46th ODI match.
