Kohli can create 2 big world records in the ODI series, will leave Lara-Sangakkara behind

1. Player to score most International centuries:

Indian captain and run-machine Virat Kohli is currently joint second with former Sri Lankan veteran player Kumar Sangakkara in the case of most international centuries. Virat and Sangakkara have 63 centuries to their name.
If Virat scores one century during this one-day series, then he will overtake Sangakkara and will become the second batsman in the world to score the most hundreds in international cricket, after Sachin Tendulkar, who has a total of 100 hundred in International cricket.

2. Virat Kohli needs 174 runs more to leave great Brian Lara behind:

Virat Kohli has so far scored 10232 runs in ODIs and he his in 12th place in the list of leading run scorer in ODIs. If Virat scores more 174 runs in this ODI series then he will be among the top ten batsmen and will leave Brian Lara (10,405) behind.
