Ranji Trophy: This Bihar bowler breaks the 34-years-old big record of Bishan Singh Bedi

The Bihar Ranji Trophy is probably trying to change their fortunes in the tournament, but in the case of personal records, there is no doubt there are in the forefront from other players.
Ashutosh Aman has broken the 34-year-old record of Bishan Singh Bedi and made his Ranji Trophy debut with a bang. Bihar's left-arm spinner Ashutosh Aman has taken 65 wickets in 14 matches of the 2019/19 Ranji season so far at an average of 6.63 in 14 innings. During this time he has taken 8 five wickets hauls and 4 times 10 wickets in a match.

Veteran Bishan Singh Bedi's record broken:

With 65 wickets, Ashutosh Aman has become the leading wicket-taker in a Ranji season. Earlier this record was named after former India captain Bishan Singh Bedi. Bedi had picked 64 wickets at an average of 8.53 in the Ranji Trophy's 1974/75 season.
During this period he took 8 five wickets hauls. Since then, breaking this record of Bedi was impossible. But now Ashutosh Aman of Bihar has become the highest wicket-taker in a season of Ranji, by storing overtaking Bedi's 34-year-old record. In the current season, Ashutosh is far ahead of the other bowler. Not only that, the wickets has not stopped yet, which means that the number of wickets will increase in coming days.
