IND vs NZ, 3rd T20: Virat Kohli is only 25 runs away from breaking Dhoni's big record

Breaking records in any format of cricket for Virat Kohli is no longer a big deal and when he walks to bat against New Zealand in the third T20I match in Hamilton on Wednesday, he can break MS Dhoni's another big record.

The captain of the Indian cricket team is just 25 runs behind Dhoni in the list of highest run-scorers as captain in T20 Internationals. Kohli currently sits fourth behind MS Dhoni (1,112), New Zealand captain Kane Williamson (1148), and South Africa captain Faf du Plessis (1,273).
Apart from this, Virat Kohli stands just one half-century away from scoring the most fifty-plus scores in T20I as a captain. Kohli currently has scored eight 50 plus scores and on par with Du Plessis and Williamson.

The long list of records does not come to an end as Kohli can also become the second captain to score 50 sixes in T20Is. Before him, England's Eoin Morgan has achieved this feat for the first time. Kohli is currently seven sixes away from being included in that list.
The 'Men in Blue' have won the first two matches of the five-match T20I series which were played in Auckland. In the first match, India chased 204 runs in 19 overs, while the second match was a low-scoring affair.

KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer have starred with the bat. While Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja showed their talent with the ball. Now the third match of this series will be played in Hamilton on 29th January.
